Singapore store offers alcoholic drinks from self-pour kiosk

A store in a Singapore shopping mall offers consumers the chance to serve themselves craft spirits from a touchscreen enabled kiosk, according to a report in thespiritsbusiness.com.

Proof & Co., a Singapore provider of alcoholic spirits, has partnered with DFI Retail Group to deploy the first self-pour kiosk at the CS Fresh store in Singapore's Tanglin Mall, with more locations scheduled this year.

The kiosk was provided by Ecospirits in Singapore, which uses a closed-loop distribution system that removes packaging waste in the spirits supply chain.

Consumers place their bottle under a pouring system and use a touchscreen to select and fill.

Consumers will save up to 20% of the cost the spirit in single-use packages, according to the report.
